Waldorf-Ottewell Community Garden and the Waldorf Education Society of Edmonton invite you to visit us at the Ottewell Artisans Farmers Market Community Table this coming Thursday, March 3rd.

Drop in for free seeds harvested at the Waldorf-Ottewell Community Garden and learn about how to get involved and flourish with us!

You will be notified via email upon acceptance to participate in our HELLO SPRING MARKET.

We would like to ensure the market hosts a variety of vendors and may eliminate duplications.

OCL Playschool Registration Open for March 1!

What will my child be learning?

Activities that are structured around development of motor skills, social skills and cognitive skills in a fun and encouraging environment. The curriculum supports some preparation for Kindergarten.

What is the cost for my child to attend?

OCL Playschool current tuition rates are $120/month for the two day program and $180/month for the three day program. Deposit cheques (refundable) are required for each mandatory volunteer commitment (Bingo cheque, Cleaning Bee, etc).  All registrants will be required to have a current South East Community League Membership by the beginning of the school year.

We run out of Ottewell Community Hall and our schedule is Mondays & Wednesdays, with a third day option of Friday classes.

Classes are from 8:45am to 11:15am

We are here year round to bring you quality items from our local vendors.

You can find us inside the community hall from 4pm to 7pm Thursdays! Until May and then we move outside in the parking lot and rink area!

We have a concession weekly for take out foods, Fresh Veggies, BC Fruits, Microgreens, Baked Breads, Baked Sweet Treats, Vegan Foods, Polish Foods, Jamaican Foods, Mexican Salsa & Chips, Meadery as well as Columbia Coffee not to forget our local artisans with there treasures to share.

We are looking for volunteers to participate in the planning committee for our 60th birthday celebration.

Don’t forget if you are a community member you have access to the Tool Library

Ottewell Community League has opted to become a supporter of The Edmonton Tool Library which means all members of the community league can now claim an individual annual membership which will allow you to borrow up to eight items from the large inventory of hand, power, and yard tools for a week at a time.

To claim your membership please visit our location at the Bellevue Community Hall (7308 112 Avenue NW Edmonton) and bring photo identification and your ottewell community league membership card.

To make the process faster you can complete a tool library membership application and review the release of liability waiver and borrowing policy. If you are not yet a member of your community league you can join online through the Edmonton Federation Of Community Leagues website or at any Edmonton Servus Credit Union branch.
