Meet Our Teachers
OCLP is lucky to have the Teacher Lisa dream team! Our two teachers both have over 20 years of experience working with young children in various settings in and out of the classroom.
Lisa Milan, or Mrs. Milan, has an education degree from the University of Alberta specializing in Early Childhood Education. She previously worked as a kindergarten teacher for Edmonton Catholic schools.
Lisa Mazoleski, or Ms. Maz, has an arts degree with a major in music and minor in education. She has taught piano for 25 years and was previously one of Ottewell’s playschool teachers.
Both Lisas have grown up and live in this area, they each have 3 amazing kids and both are passionate about giving back to the community. They are very excited to work together to create an environment where each child will learn through play and develop to their full potential.

OCLP has operated within the community for over 50 years. Our program runs Monday, and Wednesday mornings with an optional Thursday morning, from September to June.
The program encourages hands-on exploration and discovery with purposeful play that embraces children’s innate curiosity and creativity. Children have the opportunity to develop social skills and foster community friendships. Our program focuses on the five main domains of a child’s development: social, emotional, physical, cognitive and language.
